Her ex cheated after 8 years? I reached out to her on facebook she was just someone I use to say hi and bye to in highschool. she finally agreed to meet up with me, sparks flew from the get go ( although in the process she did let me know about her hurtfull break up, her ex left her after 8 years and from the emails she showed me that he sent her, he basically fell out of love even though he expressed how wonderfull of a woman she is.) but anyways, we kept seeing each other every weekend, dinner, dancing, I would stay over, we would go to breakfast just basically do everything together for like 3months straight. throught out this time her ex would text her once in a blue moon to say hello, or have a good night wich i ignored at the time because she was all about me. Around Christmas time she took a trip back home to Colombia and while she was over there she found out from her ex's family that he is getting married which devistated her because she found out that for the past 4 years he had been cheating on her. When she came back she TOTALLY changed with me. She still called me and whut not but told me that now more that ever she knows she isnt ready because of what she found out. She tells me that she knows what an amazing man I am and that with me she KNOWS she has nothing to worry about and that if i was to be out of her life she would be heart broken. she says she respects me so much that she wants to be with me when she is ready to give me her 100% aka her all. I will admit that my feelings for her have grown so much because she really is a wonderfull wonderfull woman. Very hard to find and it sucks that Im paying for some idiots mistake. I have made the attempt and told her that we should go our seperate ways for a little bit so she can clear her head from alot of things but each time I try to let go, she wont let go and she'll call and look for me. We talk on the phone every day, but hardly hang out anymore and when we do see each other its sort of an awkward feeling, like as if the spark is dying out. I dont want to lose her and from what she says she doesnt want to lose me either but shes not ready to be in a serious relationship. Trust me guys going through this is very very emotionally draining especially when you have come to love the person. Dont know what the hell to do anymore!
